Pods singles! runners on the corners, 2 outs, bottom of teh 9th! Although Getz neeeeearly got picked off at 3rd.

3 games out, AGAIN. This is exactly why we're a mediocre team.

Alexei Ramirez has the attention span of a hummingbird with ADHD.

Contreras and his overpaid sucky ass can leave anytime.

Carlos Torres sent down to Charlotte.

What a ****in game, was a pitchers duel and top 9th with two men on, Alexei hits the go ahead 3 run shot and we go up and win 3-1. This is the first time in 50 games that we trailed each inning going into the 9th and won it.

Alexei missed an easy DP there. Hope it does not cost us...



Update: Got out of it. Now on to the ninth tied 0-0

Terrible base running by Pods there. We could have had the bases loaded and 1 out if he could stay close to third.

We could have that game won if Pods hadn't gotten picked off. Getting thrown out from the catcher at 3rd is just inexcusable.

Contreras has been brutal this year but this outing wouldn't have been half as bad if the defense wasn't playing like they all just licked a bucket full of AIDS before that inning.

Well even if we almost shit down our legs and lost, we still won 7-6 thanks to Alexei, man that was awesome. First he hits the go ahead 3 run HR vs. the Mariners, and now vs. the A's.

I heard Hawk say something about that in the 14 inning game and I kept thinking it was just a mistake or Hawk meant that he would not be on the air because the game would be on Fox until he actually said that it was the only game that would not be televised this year.



Sounds like a good game though.

Not that anything Burls says should be taken seriously or usually even acknowledged, but Nix has an almost .800 OPS. That's perfectly acceptable for a platoon player.
