Vick would be honored to be on Madden once more

Michael Vick the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback was on the cover of Madden once already, but he would be honored to be on the cover of Madden one more time.

During the voting of the cover athlete for the upcoming game of Madden 2012, Michael Vick has made it to the championship round against Peyton Hillis who has upset many favorables athletes.

Michael Vick was named the AP Comeback Player of the Year in the 2010-2011 season as he would throw for 3,018 yards, 21 passing touchdowns, 9 rushing touchdowns, a completion percentage of 62.6 and a passer rating of 100.2.

Peyton Hillis filled in this year after the Cleveland Browns lost their starting halfback due to injury, and would actually have a 1,000 yard rushing season. He would finish with 1,177 yards and would be known for his run-through and shred tackles type of running. Peyton's mother would say that everyone is proud of him, and that he's a hometown hero.

Vick would mention that he would be much more appreciative of this award this time around, as he didn't care all that much when he won it in 2003 with the Atlanta Falcons. Michael Vick doesn't believe in the "Madden Curse", but in '03 after being on the cover he would break his leg and miss 11 games during the regular season. Vick said he would much rather win the cover of the Madden game since he plays the game with his friends and online as well. He would love to show it to his kids to show what he's accomplished.

Peta did try to tell EA sports to take his name out of the voting but EA Sports actually stood up for the one time prison mate Vick, and Vick was grateful for the support they showed.

I personally hope to see Michael Vick on the cover of Madden 2012 rather than Hillis, first off I think Hillis' yards was a one year fluke. Plus Vick is more deserving considering all the controversy he goes through week in and out and still comes out strong.
