Upcoming movies in 2011

The best time of year for a theatrical release is in the late spring into summer when everyone starts going out more and gets in the summer spirit. Movies like Transformers 1 and 2, The Pirates of the Carribbean series, Batman Begins, Spiderman series, and the Harry Potter series are just a few of the legendary films to come out during this time of year.

The movie Your Highness may be a contender to be one of the starters of the big hits in the Spring this year. Starring James Franco, Natalie Portman, and Danny McBride, the star studded cast leads a quest to rescue the fiance, with a bit of stupidity and misfortune on the way. The combo of these two guys should be great and Natalie Portman is beautiful. Absolutely something that should be worth the watch.

The long awaited Scream 4 will finally be released on April 15th. The cast brings back past members and takes on new characters with Hayden Panetierre and Emma Roberts. Love the Scream movies and it only gets better with these two girls.

May will feature blockbusters with On Stranger Tides (latest Pirates of the Carribbean movie) and the Hangover II. Both of these movies are bound to kill in sales and wow the audience. They each have increvily high expectations and I doubt they will fail to impress.



It picks up even more in the summer with movies like the Green Lantern, Transformer: Dark of the Moon, and the final installment in the Harry Potter series; Deathly Hallow pt II. The movie industry should be in for a senesational season with some of the most anticipated releases of all time. All of these movies will seek to reach new height with exposure, sales, and popularity, all with previous bars set for the title. Get ready and grab some snacks and enjoy all of these sick movies! I can't wait.
