Uconn's own arrested

One of the Connecticut Huskies national champions very own Jamal Coombs-McDaniel was arrested today thanks to a marijuana possession charge.

The Sophomore from Massachusetts was arrested Thursday night at the Merritt Hall which is a Connecticut dorm. Coombs-McDaniel was found with 5.6 grams of marijuana, and 2 others were found with the same around. Some of the other items found were a marijuana grinder and cigars to pack the marijuana.

In this case Coombs-McDaniel was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Being released on a hefty $500 bond and is to appear in court on May 5.

There was others with being charged on that night, there was marijuana charges, alcohol offenses and weapon violations. Spring weekend is a big part of this, the security will be tightened around there to prevent these types of things from happening!

In my honest opinion, I don't care what anyone says but so many of these athletes are so damn stupid! I mean really, you just won a national championship and now have the chance to have a starting position. But you want to throw it away for some weed? Go ahead and ruin your life buddy!
