Tigers Acquire Peralta

Tigers acquired 3B Jhonny Peralta from the Indians for LHP Giovanni Soto.
The Tigers have now addressed their vacancy at third base, though Peralta's bat isn't exactly of the high-impact type. He's hit just .246 this season with a .698 OPS, seven home runs and 43 RBI. Soto is a 19-year-old left-handed prospect who has had some success at the Single-A level.
