Stillbirths can be prevented

After some studies between different countries, it has come to the conclusion that stillbirths can actually be prevented. It’s just a matter of how bad we want to help to avoid it.

More than 2 million babies are stillborn worldwide every year and near twenty-six thousand of them are in the United States. Poor medical treatment can attribute to stillbirths which is why its unfortunate for those in sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia.

In the higher income countries, typically there is one in two-hundred babyes who reach twenty-two weeks that die. Stillbirth was usually a thing of the past, although it is still among us these days. And after researchers analyzed further they have come to results.

In the high income countries, for instance the U.S., obesity is a big factor these days and that can play a big factor in still births. Even if you were to put on extra weight while you are pregnant can contribute to a still birth, which leads you to needing to pay extra attention to your health and diet for the most part.

Those who are heavy smokers as well can double the odds of a stillbirth, on assumption close to 1,097 deaths may be attributed from mothers who smoke ten cigarettes a day.

We all want to have healthy babies, right? That is the dream is to be married, and have happy and healthy children. But in order to have a successful birth make sure that for the most part we are taking care of ourselves. Making sure that we exercise regularly and watch our diet is a good way to go about it! Unfortunately the fact that African American women are more likely to have a stillbirth is an unfortunate fact. The stillbirth can have a big affect on people, as if they’ve known the person for years. They would compare it to losing a loved one in the family and it can take a toll on them for years to come.
