This sounds interesting. It will create jobs and improve the environment by getting people out of their cars and into this train. It will travel at speeds of up to 250 MPH and transport people from Tampa Bay to Orlando in about a half hour. I'd say that's quite amazing considering there's about ninety miles between the two cities. Obama's on his grizzy right now.

Real First Name: I'm a sports fanatic and I love my hometown teams (Wizards, Redskins)
A high speed rail connecting Tampa and Orlando would be great for both cities' economies, for employment and tourism, and it would be even better if it also linked up Miami and Jacksonville and ideally, Atlanta.

The high-speed Acela trains running between Washington, Philadelphia, New York, New Haven, and Boston are a success here in the Northeast. They are fast and efficient. Florida could really learn a lesson from this, and the high-speed trains are certainly a step in the right direction.

Yeah, I heard they might add a rail in Miami as well. I'm all for the speed rails. It improves the economy and the environment and provides a faster, more efficient way of travel. Here's another article.

Obama mentioned this large project in last nights speech. Seems like a worthy investment.

They're definitely following through. They've already passed the bill to get started. The only bad part is that these trains won't be running for another 4-5 years.
