Sixers surprise Heat in game 4
Coming to game four the Miami Heat had a victorious sweep in mind, but the Philadelphia 76ers would surprise the Heat in game four!
The 76ers early on in the game were on a dominant tear, and didn't want to think about an early elimination sweep at the hands of the Miami Heat. With those thoughts running through their mind I'm sure, they would take control and at one point would hold a sixteen point lead against the Heat. In the second quarter, the Heat wouldn't allow that to happen any longer as they went on a 22-2 run in the second quarter. It was a back and forth game, and didn't necessarily get out of hands for the 76ers. The Heat definitely were not on their game today even with the "Big 3" doing what they do. In the fourth quarter it seemed all but over for the 76ers when Bosh would reject back-to-back shots by blocking them. Although late in the final minute of the game and down by 4, Jrue Holliday would hit a 3 to make it a one point game. Wade would go into the lane and miss a layup, and Lou Williams the star of this game would hit the go-ahead three with about 8 seconds remaining. After this the game was all but over for the Heat, as James would drive down the court and try to draw the foul but only to be blocked by Elton Brand. Lou Williams would finish the game with 17 points, while Elton Brand ended with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Other attributors to this game would be rookie sensation Evan Turner with 17 points and Andre Iguodala who finished with 16. The Big 3 finished with a combined 65 points, with LeBron being at the top of that with 31 points. They didn't get the typical contribution from Mario Chalmers as he finished the game 9 points. |
