Rules On Voting

The Rules of Voting:

Each person may vote for up to 10 players to be admitted into the BH Virtual Hall of Fame. To be elected to the BH Virtual HOF a player must be approved by 75% of those casting ballots. Due to the lower vote totals here players receiving 1 vote will be on future ballots and those receiving none will be removed.

How this will work:

Ballots will be active for 3 days at which time the election will close. Only the first year, 1936, will have the names found on the actual ballots. Based on the rules as set up, ballots will begin changing in 1937 as candidates are removed for lack of votes.

Rules Clarification:

OK there seems to be some confusion here...let me clarify:

1. ANyone receiving votes on a ballot but not getting elected, will automatically move to the next years ballot. All people not receiving votes will be dropped.

2. However the VC ballots will be exact duplicates (except where the person was already elected) of actual VC ballots.

Basically, if you get a vote you move on, if not you are dropped, if dropped but you are brought back on a VC ballot IRL you will be brought back on BH as well.

So the VC ballots will be mostly exact duplicates of the RL ones whereas the BBWAA ballots will change based on our votes...

make sense?
How classes will be decided:

I will endeavor to do a BBWAA class, a VC class, etc as they came up. I will post each year only if the actual HOF voted people in that year.

Also their is a list of players you may select from. You just can't randomly name 10 players...
