Royce Gracie still pushing for Matt Hughes

Royce Gracie wants to be on the fight card in UFC: Rio, and he wants to fight Matt Hughes.

“I’ll just tell you straight up, he thinks his performance against Matt Hughes was not what it could have been. He thinks he can beat Matt Hughes, and he wants that fight again,” White told reporters on Wednesday about Gracie’s wish to return to the Octagon.

Dana White obviously thinks he knows who the winner would be. He is afraid Royce Gracie would get hurt, but the guy helped build the sport. I would give him his wish and then watch him do the damn thing. He is a professional and it is not like he can not take a beating. To be honest Matt Hughes is getting a little older and could use a boost in his career.
