well, either way by reading my Internet speeds and information on speedtest.net it was only God holding my Internet connection.. i had the highest ping i had ever seen in my life lol and my upload speed was horrible.

anyhow hope i can enter & manage the tournament still.

what are your actual speeds for download and upload

yeah i might agree with that. i can't get anything but Roadrunner and Alltel... Alltel is about the same speeds as i was that night just without the high ping.


and i cant remember the actual speeds atm. but i lost over 90% of my normal download speed. i had less than 10% of my upload speed. then my ping was more than 20x its normal amount.

to be honest, at this point i would give them a try. but they don't give service out here and my friend has had comcast a looong time and has even moved and yet his connection has always been bad.

idk i love my internet when its normal like it is now. It's just the randomly dropping and screwing up part i hate.

i normally get a pretty good download and a average upload. "for my area" but when it drops it drops just to the point that i don't lag out, i just sit there not able to move.

thats what i do.

right now my internet is fine. it just drops randomly.

if or when it drops again i will get the speeds and post a pic up. my default speeds are.

Download= 5-7mbs
Upload = .36-.37mbs
Ping = 73-88ms

Is this ne good?

I would think that Alltel would be the same as FiOS, maybe? Since Verizon bought Alltel and all...

Comcast has the shittiest customer service ever.

yeah that's a very good connection.

the lower your ping the better.

and if you have more than 1mb upload you're already past average.



well, Comcast may suck but when you call Time Warner out all they do is tell you, everything is fine and the only way to fix something that was never a problem before is to re-wire your house.

haha my download is like 13.57 mb/s and my upload is like 1.62 mb/s but the closest server to my house was a little more than 50 miles away :\

Dude! i have the same shit bro... and hosting on that connection isnt worth it either... my computer is at least fast ^_^
