Review: 'Top Spin 4'

"Top Spin 4" is easily the most realistic feeling tennis game ever to be created. 2KSports has integrated full body animations with an extremely intuitive control layout to provide us with this incredibly game.

The way they have created forming and making the shots in this game is very easy to use, yet still leaves a feeling of great control and realism. It's based on your classic press-and-hold button system. Each button corresponds to a different type of tennis shot, whether it be a lob, slice, normal, or top spin shot. The power is calculated by how long the button is held down for. This is similar to Madden where the longer you hold down the pass button, the harder your pass will be thrown.

All 25 players included in the game are extremely detailed and contain their real life attributes and skills. Once you get a chance to add a 26th player, or your very own "created" player, your fun just keeps growing. Battling off in epic matches against the current bests in the world, nothing can beat that.

They also add an Online aspect where there are Men's and Women's tournaments and a leader board/ranking system where you can see how well you match up against the world.

Overall I think this game is one of the best tennis games to ever be made and will most likely increase their popularity in the gamer world.
