Religious Group Wants Electronics 'Fast'
Earlier, a religious Interfaith group asked everyone to please unplug all electronic devices in order to celebrate Holy Week, otherwise known as the 7 days in between Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday.
They are basing this off of the thought that walking away from your smartphones, gaming consoles, TVs, and computers will get you more in tune and allow you to connect with nature. The week is to be called "Screen-Free Week" and it's purpose is to encourage people of all religions to put down their electronics and interact with other people of society, become closer to nature, and refresh our lives. Putting down your beloved electronics may not be the easiest thing to do for some people, so the group released a list of 101 different suggestions for things to do while not on your electronic devices. In my opinion, something like this is definitely need for everyone, including me. People LIVE on their electronics and it will be better for the future if we can all learn to take a break from them. Re: Religious Group Wants Electronics 'Fast'
It's amazing how some people cannot go a day without their phone.
