Certainly nothing to cheer too loud about, it's a win and we'll happily take it.

Now if we win tomorrow and Buchholz pitches well...THAT will be something to cheer about.

Just got home from this one...oy. Made you sweat. One of the uglier saves I've ever seen from Papelbon, but a win is a win is a win.

I didn't watch the game.

Sounds like a crazy one though.

Yeah, a lot of fun to be there for sure. Ortiz was hitting the ball very well.

Clay Buchholz will face Halladay. This is his 3rd straight start facing the opposing team's ace.

Drew and Bay have both been hot this week, and so has Papi, who has the 2nd most HR's since June 6th.

Pedroia and Varitek are both out of the line-up again.

Ortiz takes Halladay deep! He is now tied for the most HR's in the AL since June 6!

Kotchman reaches, steals second, and is driven in with a 2-out single by A-Gon.

dam the sox are giving Halladay fits. 3 runs in 4 innings is far from death, but his pitch count is up to like 90 pitches through 4 innings. At this pace he will be lucky if he gets through 6 innings, and after the jays had to use their bullpen a lot last night that probably isn't a good thing for the jays to have to go to their bullpen early again today.

wow Youkilis is like target practice out there. League gives up a solo shot to Victor Martinez and promptly plunks Youkilis. Hard to say it was intentional considering League's lack of control and general wildness, but damn that dude gets hit a ton.

what a piss poor time to have the jays on national tv. It would have made a lot more sense to have them on earlier in the year when they actually thought they had a shot, rather than now when they are clearly just building for next year.

You won a game, I wouldn't say you are 'rollin'

We just got upgraded to IBE3 (or whatever it's called).

The skins will be applied soon.

Back on topic...

Enjoy your short lived success. CC goes for the Yanks Sunday Night and he's been hot.

Damn, I've been away for a bit, this forum use to be active but now all I see is some old posts by Yankee fans. What's up with that?

Ok, lets get back to business here at TBE.

Another nice win for the Sox tonight. Buchholz looked great. Pitching is really coming together before the post season.

The magic # is 10 for the wild-card folks.
