I believe he's coming back sometime next week (after his rehab start)

Rangers have 7 SBs in this game alone.

I didn't watch that part of the game, but I can say he may have been trying to hit him, just not in the head. I sure hope he wasn't trying to hit him in the head, anyways. That's dangerous

We just can't seem to put a string of wins together. Are bats are dead.



Francona looks as if his head will burst. I think he's trying anything at this point what with putting Youk in the outfield, which was almost as dreadful as having Buchholtz pinch run.

You wouldn't want a lineup without BOTH youk and Bay. But hey look @ it like this. Bay is starting to hit Hr's again. To bad there Solo shots.

Taz sucks. The second time through the order, everyone takes him deep.

I've only watched two innings but it looks like Tazawa is getting hit hard, just some nice defence behind him.

Taz is getting hit hard. He's thrown just about 100 pitches, and only about 55 strikes, so he's walked some guys. He has no K's today.



Pedroia just saved a run with that golden glove of his.

He's only walked three, but he's given up 8 hits in only 5 innings. Factor in some great defense and I'd say Taz has been very lucky today.

Yeah, obviously it was about getting another good (?) bat in the line-up, but I think it's safe to say Mr Youk will never play outfield again. Not for Francona anyway. He had two major flubs and looked pretty lost out there. Like a bat with earplugs.
