Why you want to run/contribute to this blog: I love talking about and picking apart the Rangers

Blog name ideas: Nothing right now except for "Talkin' Texas". I don't like it. I'll keep thinking.

Any blogging experience?: A little. Nothing recently.

Why you love your team: I've loved them since I was a kid.

Can you post at least a few times per week (Assuming there are other contributors): Yes. I have been.

Do you agree to have your content shared on other websites (Bleacher Report): Sure.

If you run this blog by yourself, you could make it "The Lone Ranger"

Hmm, something related to the actual Texas Rangers law enforcement agency. Good idea.

Not at all. I didn't even think about it. The team's name came from the agency, why shouldn't this blog's?

K, I've been thinking about two blog names:

1. The Dispatch: it's the name of the actual Texas Rangers's magazine.

2. The Pony Express

And since I read this blog is supposed to be made daily, I'm thinking of a schedule.

Sunday: The Roundup and the Wanted: wrap up the last week and look into the next week's opponents, as well as seeing how my predictions from last week went

Monday: Yeehaw! What's Going Right: say what's going right with the team

Tuesday: Doggone! What's Going Wrong: point out the flaws and possible solutions

Wednesday: The Lantern: spotlighting a player on the Rangers

Thursday: Scoutin' the Farm: A look into some of the prospects of the team

Friday: Talk of the Town: I look at what other Rangers fans are saying about this team from sites like the Dallas Morning News' Rangers blog, Lone Star Ball comments, Twitter, and the official site's comments and forums

Saturday: (Still thinking of a name for this): I show some stats on the team
If you wouldn't mind Stone, I could help contribute some.

Why you want to run/contribute to this blog: There my hometown team

Blog name ideas: StoneRanger already his this

Any blogging experience?: Nope

Why you love your team: There my hometown team, and I have been following them equally as long as I have been the Yankees (2004)

Can you post at least a few times per week (Assuming there are other contributors): Yeah, I think I'd be able to get more than a few entries a week.

Do you agree to have your content shared on other websites (Bleacher Report): If it is good enough I don't see why not.

I'd love to help write about our Texas Rangers. I will google some blogs and read them to see the style for writing them, since I have never done it before.

Well if you're blogging about them, you're going to want your own style.

I know I'm new and I don't have the post count even close to the required, but I can help anywhere needed. I have loved the Rangers for as long as I have known what baseball is (I'm 22 now). I watch every game that is on TV, check box scores, keep up with stats, anything I can do.

I can make time to hit up some sort of blogging as much as needed.
