Rangers may be put up for auction

A court-appointed officer has recommended a one-day auction to sell the Rangers and lift the team out of bankruptcy. Bidding would start $15 million above what Nolan Ryan and Pittsburgh sports attorney Chuck Greenberg negotiated for the team before its May 24 bankruptcy filing.

Ryan's attempt to buy them failed I think. We should make a collective CTS bid and buy 'em.

high operating costs, low revenue, obviously.

one has to blame the owners and those who are dumb enough as consumers to condone the price gauging by going to the games & dishing out whole paychecks to watch a bunch of adderall addicted roid monkeys stand around on a field for three to four hours.

the MLB is full of overpaid underachieving douche bags and that can be said for the MLB more so than any other pro-sports league in this country.
