Raiders target Mallett

When it comes to the Oakland Raiders and all of the drama filled in year in and year out this was not a surprise, they may be targeting Ryan Mallett from Arkansas in this years upcoming draft.

Ryan Mallett has the strongest arm in the class draft out of Arkansas, although Oakland has also been known to take athletes with issues. In this case Mallett admitted to having done drugs. New head coach Hue Jackson said that if the Raiders have the option of taking a younger quarterback with a arm on the team, he would do it without question!

The Oakland Raiders current quarterbacks are Jason Campbell and Kyle Boller who are both first round picks in previous years. They are both entering their contract years although, so this could be a good option in getting a younger quarterback.

Sure, Ryan Mallett has made the mistake of drugs. At least he has admitted it although, that's a great sign of maturity! Hopefully it could be a great sign of him coming around.
