Nintendo 3DS
![]() Nintendo's widely hyped newest version of their handheld-system, the Nintendo 3DS goes on sale this weekend in the United States. The Nintendo 3DS is the first big launch of glasses-free 3D technology and is making everyone extremely excited. Our biggest question 'Will it work?' has finally been answered. Yes it does, and very consistently on the 3DS. One of the most interesting features is the ability to change the image from a crazy 3D image to an amazing 2D image from the use of a slider. Compared to the previous DS, the screen is about 3.5 inches larger and boasts a better resolution. There is also a 3D camera on the back of the system and one on the front side. The 3DS also has an increased RAM and more powerful processor. The best part of the system is ultimately it's implementation of the 3D system. There is an absolute sweet spot, and the games work tremendously through it. The two only really bad things about the Nintendo 3DS is the absolutely awful battery life, along with the increase in the price to $250. |
