Two monorail trains crashed early Sunday morning in the Magic Kingdom section of Walt Disney World, killing one train's operator, emergency officials said.

Disney said it was the first fatal crash in the monorail's 38-year history in the park.

Wow, I would have never thought the Monorail could crash.

Yeah, I heard about this. It's very sad that employee had to lose his life . He was only 21 years old. That is way to young to die.

Other information I have heard is that this employee could have been working a shift that had him working 20 hours because it was the 4th of July and they were working extra to transport the mass of people back to there resorts and cars.

He probably worked late, but no way did he work a shift for 20 hours. The monorail system doesn't even run for 20 hours in a day.

The parks were opened extra late due to the crowds and extended hours on the 4th of July. When I was 9 years old I was at WDW for the millenium and many of the transportation workers were working till 5 in the morning to get the guest back to there resorts. I was one of those guest who got back to there room at approximately 4 in the morning so they were working for quite a long time.

I was there. I didn't see it. It's a shame, but accidents happen.

Please don't stand clear of the gates, Austin. Por favor no mantégase alejado de las puertas, Austin. Walk through them.
