Mike Kafka is now a player of interest

After the 2010 NFL season there was going to be many quarterback spots that would need to be filled, and Mike Kafka has now become a quarterback of interest to some teams.

After the Eagles season and post season was over, it was clear that since Michael Vick had an extraordinary year that he would be coming back to Philly. Now with that being mentioned, in the beginning of the year Kolb was the supposed starter and this would cause complications now considering the job that Vick did after Kolb received the concussion from Packers linebacker Clay Matthews.

The Eagles did end up keeping Michael Vick, leaving one option open for Kolb which was trading him! Kolb is definitely starting material, but is he a Tom Brady or Michael Vick? Not quite! Even with the obvious news that Kolb is on the block, now the Eagles are receiving offers for their fourth round pick last year Michael Kafka, a quarterback out of Northwestern who showed good signs in the preseason of 2010.

It's thought that it's the teams that had the chance to take Kafka but never got to since the Eagles took him in the fourth round, but there hasn't been any deals released yet as to how much or what the team was willing to give for him.
