Marlins to stick with Rodriguez

After about 1 week of many rumors swirling around that the Florida Marlins were interviewing possible managing candidates such as Buck Showalter and Bobby Valentine, ESPN's Buster Olney has reported that the Marlins Owner Jeffrey Loria informed the team today that Edwin Rodriguez would remain the interim GM for the Marlins for the remainder of the 2010 season.

The team also considered D'Backs 3B coach Bo Porter, and reports broke out yesterday that Valentine was no longer interested in the job after philosophical differences ended the discussions.

So far the Marlins are 2-4 under Rodriguez.
