Lifelike Human Robots Talk to Human Counterparts

A meeting at ATR in Nara last month, three robots sat down around a table and conversed with each other, and then eventually with the exact human the robots were designed to represent.

In the video of the event, each humanoid makes human-like movements, are able to speak, and show clear focus on another person or robot speaking. They are also able to have a conversation, and actually create jokes and make the human subjects laugh.

This kind of technological feat is just amazing to me, and I'm sure to everyone else. It will be no time before we can create walking, fully functional robots.
