The Detroit Tigers are my favorite sports team, and they have been kicking some major butt lately. They are even getting "W"s in their own division which is odd, because most of the time they can beat up on teams until they get to the ALC.

The greatest feat of late was the almost perfect game that Justin Verlander tossed when he got his 2nd no-hitter. Then JV followed up that game with a 2-hit masterpiece and took that no-hit into the 6th inning.

It is awesome to see Austin Jackson getting some pop in his bat, and his batting average is raising too. Miguel Cabrera is batting 6-for-33 over his last 10 games. Half of those hits have come in his last three games, so when Miggy gets back to basics I think that the Tigers will be front runners in the AL.
