Jim Thome hits his 600th homerun

Man, other than my Detroit Tigers losing, last night was a great game of baseball. I feel fortunate that I was able to be at the game. The game that I am referring to was of course Detroit Tigers .vs Minnesota Twins.

I was not expecting much from the game. I just wanted to watch some baseball and drink over-priced PBR. I actually forgot all about Jim Thome crawling toward his 600th career dinger.

Thome has hit maybe 9 HRs all year so far and then he goes back-to-back against my guys to enter the history books. The atmosphere was awesome.

The only thing that would have made the game better would have been if Alex Avila would have hit a Grand Slam to win the game. The home run that never happened would have made it so that he hit for the natural cycle.

1) Will Jim Thome be inducted in the HOF?
2) Will it be his first year?
3) Did anyone see when Ben Revere tried to run over Alex Avila @ home? That was insane!
