iPhone 4 worth the switch

iPhone 4 is supposed to have some really great improvements over my standard 3GS including a better digital camera and the ability to video chat. Has anyone that has the new iPhone 4 had the chance to use any of these features. I am thinking about making the switch and paying the money to upgrade.

Mine is coming in two or three weeks, can't wait! Worth the switch for me cos I had an iPhone 3G previously. Will tell you how it is?

Getting it Sim free direct from apple then paying a sim only, 30 day contract. It's different in the UK.

I've had a long play with it in the shops and the camera is great, zoom autofocus and flash are all brilliant. The 720p HD video recording is supurb quality aswell I also think it's nicer to hold, love the slim glass back.

Oh yeah the screen is actually just mind blowing! Even if you put your face to it, you really can't make out one pixel, amazing technology! It's also miles faster than the 3gs.

Up to you if you want to upgrade, but these reasons above, alone are good enough to make me order mine.

I'll never own an iphone as long as AT&T is their choice as carrier. Their service is the worse anywhere and their customer service is seriously lacking.

I bet Apple sends out the iphone5 late 2011 or early 2012...

It will be June/ July 2011 that the iPhone 5 comes out, it's been like this for 3 years now. Also every September, new iPods come out so not long to go for them now.

Video from a phone in 720p alone are a great asset, personally I have a MinoHD camera that I use to shoot 720p footage when I am out and about and I can tell you good looking 720p footage it totally possible with small cams now.

I can't wait to see some 720p footage from the iphone.

Yeah can't wait to try it out! As I said, I'll post some test videos of me filming and edited on iMovie, 720p. To upload 720p to youtube though, you need to plug in the iPhone to your computer, you can't upload 720p directly from the iphone. Will try that
