How 3D TV's Without Glasses Work
![]() The biggest problem with making 3D TV's more popular has been the issue of people absolutely hating on the glasses. Recently, to name-brand electronic pioneers have implemented a 3D system without the glasses. Toshiba has released a new 3D TV along with Nintendo creating the 3DS hand-held gaming system. To start, parallax autostereo displays deploy an opaque, screen-door-like barrier over the screen. Each eye views the barrier from a slightly different angle, therefore sees a different set of pixels behind it. From these angles, it creates 'sweet spots' where the 3D viewing is at it's best quality. These generally range from sitting directly in front of the TV to the end of each side of the screen.
