Heat outlast Sixers for 3-0 series lead
![]() The Philadelphia 76er's had a chance to take game three but could not stop Dwayne Wade's play in the second half that led the Heat to a 100-94 win Thursday night. The migraines that Wade had been suffering the past few days had subsided and he knew he had to perform to keep the momentum. Going off for 32 points with 10 rebounds and eight assists, Wade dominated the second half to propel Miami over the Sixers in the final minutes. Nailing 10-of-19 field goals in the second, Wade savored the pressure and was able to push the Heat closer to the conference semifinals. The final dagger for the Sixers came in the final minute when Wade hit two free throws following a Jrue Holiday foul on a poor jump-shot. Theres no way you can foul in that situation and send him to the line after forcing him to throw up an awful shot. Lebron James was overshadowed in this game, also coming up big with 24 points and pulling down 15 rebounds. The Miami Heat will go for the series sweep against the 76er's in Philadelphia on Sunday. |
