A television series in America debuted in 2006 on Disney Channel and was very soon nominated for the prestigious Emmy Awards. This series named Hannah Montana is the story of a girl who plays a double role in her own life. During the day Miley Stewart is a teenage school girl and at night she becomes a well-known pop singer named Hannah Montana. She conceals her real self from the public, except from her family and close friends.
The series is still being aired on the television and renewal of the show for fourth and last season has been ordered by Disney . A movie named Hannah Montana was released for theaters in April, 2009.

The character of Hannah Montana became so popular that, Disney announced its plans to release a product range named on Hannah Montana. These included jewelry, apparel, clothing and dolls at select Disney stores. In August 2007 Play along Toys designed and marketed the Hannah Montana singing dolls, fashion dolls, the Miley Stewart doll, and other products. More dolls based on the Hannah Montana series were released in November and these became the most popular toys for Christmas in the year 2007. Information released by the Daily Dispatch, reveals that the series had a total audience of 200 million in the year 2008 and was being watched globally.

The Hannah Montana theme song was written by Robbie Nevilf and Matthew Gerrard and on screen performed by Miley Cyrus who plays Hannah Montana. It says "The Best of Both Worlds" and its music is composed by John Carta. The lyrics of the song are beautifully written and describe the basic idea of the television series.
