Glavine looking into the Thrashers

One of the most overrated in baseball history is actually looking to purchase the Atlanta Thrashers, Tom Glavine who is the Atlanta Braves former pitching star and a fan favorite.

To make the successful purchase of the Atlanta Thrashers, Glavine will be looking for some help from investors who are definitely interested in the organization. The Thrashers organization isn't worth much at all, it's worth a total of $135 million even with losing five percent in value only over 12 monthes. It's odd that there losing interest with the players that they had invested in, and their draft choice Evander Kane had an exceptionally well year considering his injury.

Glavine could bring some fame back to Atlanta's ice, and it would help with the hometown knowing their "Brave" at one point is running the organization. The Pittsburgh Penguins were in trouble before, but not until Mario Lemiuex would come and take the organization over. The way that Mario did business for the Penguins, he was able to pay off all owed debt that the Penguins had. Glavine has the opportunity to do the same thing that Lemiuex did, I bet few people know this but back in 1984 Tom Glavine was actually drafted by a NHL team.
