That is what gets me. If women are allowed to play in men's leagues, shouldn't men be able to play in women's leagues. I remember when Anika Sorenstam got to play in a tournament on the PGA tour, and some golfer said that if he wanted to, he should be able to play on the WPGA tour. Most people thought he overeacted, but I totally agreed. Either keep the leagues seperate, or everybody should have their choice on which league to join.
yep thing is women and men are physically different.. i mean I guess I dont see any harm in having women in MLB but, yeah then we should have men over at women leagues too I guess then. Let's make it fair shall we, feminists? if a girl throws 105mph with an amazing change up, good for her, let her be like the Cy Young of Women's MLB. Why have her over at MLB? To make it fair? Oh please, God didn't make our bodies the same, I guess he didn't want the sports leagues "fair" then. I was being sarcastic by the way, equalizing the league doesn't make it fair. It just make sense to keep the leagues seperate. |

Like I said in my previous post if there is an exact sport for women and men then keep it separate because most women are physically not stronger than men, especially athletic men. But since softball is not exactly like baseball and there is no leagues I do not see why men couldn't play in softball leagues and women in baseball. |

I agree with cricket,No offense Oblivia. Heres why i agree with him
Men do not win in Divorce court. Its all about those liberal Judges favoring Women. The court system now-a-days is built around the women, for the women. Which is why women can just point at a guy, say that's the daddy, and he will have to pay support. Thats why we have Men like O J Simpson,Robert Blake and Scott Peterson. The government puts them in this position to murder their wives because she wants a divorce and then her lawyer tries to take his money. But Justice is fair on Women then men get.Remember John Wayne Bobbitt his wife cut off his penis threw it in the dumpster because she didnt want sex. Well the Judge sent her to a nuthouse instead of Prison. Now shes out But Scott Peterson got the death sentence. Is this fair? |

I never said I am feminists, actually I just feel both sexes should be treated equally that is all. I don't feel that women need to protest or like someone said burn bras. Those types of things are really not getting anything accomplished anyway.

Man, nothing grinds my gears more than feminists. Seriously, in my mind, I see them all as Rosie O'Donnells', but the MOVEMENT, I think, is a good thing. The people in the movement, annoy me, but you can't argue with what they are doing. I may not agree with absolutely everything they say, or much of what they say, but you gotta admire what they are trying to do, even if it is a tad bit naive.

Gloria Steinbrenner, that's what started it. Gerald Ford should have killed her when he had the chance.

If women want to be equal in this world, they better as hell be on the front line when and if the draft is ever used again.

I think the feminist movement in the early 1900's in England would have a quite definitive say against that theory |

I made an account just to post on this thread because i have just the right comment for this blind feminist. YOU LACK THE HORMONES. i say this because of my adventures at a feminine school. Feminists are crazy nuts. I'm an 11 year old boy and life sucks as soon as i walk into school. My fifth grade teacher seemed bent on enforcing what I like to call "The emasculation/castration proclomation." And I have no friends because we are all different in every way imaginable. I enjoy sports. They enjoy fashion. I enjoy first person shooters. They enjoy vintage jeans, so on, so on. My male teachers this year in sixth grade are all metrosexuals and seem like women trapped in men's bodies which is pretty weird. If you are a feminist and believe i am 11 years old, you are thinking right now: This child is being forced away from his feminine side by his father!! Someone help him!. WRONG. lol sorry this is my first post, I know its amateur.
PS.If a male and female are racing and are even in body weight, muscle, every other athletic factor, the male wins. Because he has the hormones that he was meant to receive when he was 12. No amount of crying, fasting, demanding sympathy from your lesbofriends is going to change that. (Also because males are more emotionless and wont be thinking "oh my god what if i lose!?!?! what will my girlfriends think of me?!" the entire time.) |

Re: Feminism is retarded
OP - i have to say im a guy and even I found that post quite immature and offensive, but i dont blame you.
I just think you are confusing the movement of feminism with the stereotypical feminists we often see portrayed as manly/ugly beasts who hate men. The fault here lies with everyone who promotes this stigmatic view of feminists. If I were you I would take this under consideration before jumping to an absurd conclusion such as described in your opening post. But full respect for initiating this debate - hopefully others who feel like you may read this and think twice about their unfounded preconceptions. Personally I believe the world would probably be better off in most ways if women ran the world (although I probably wouldn't want to live in it - lol, joking of course!).But in all seriousness the feminist movement itself is incredibly important for both men and women. It just seems to me you havent put enough thought into this issue to warrant its place in the "Serious Discussion" section. EdIT: StoneRanger -- having just read your post, may I suggest that the movement may have begun even earlier with the advent of the Suffragettes who wanted to help their country and their drafted husbands/boyfriends etc.. in the war effort? |

Re: Feminism is retarded
FYI Scott Peterson may have gotten the death penalty but he's still alive, 5 years after the courts set the sentence and he may be alive for many more years to come with his lawyer setting up appeal after appeal.
