Last Movie You Saw and Rate It

Well I watched a lot of movies the past two days so I will post a little about them.

The International (Clive Owen) - 6/10
Did not enjoy it nearly as much as I thought I would. Started out very promising, but the plot gets weaker as the movie goes on instead of stronger. The "epic" fighting scene at the Guggenheim goes on for a good 20 minutes (completely overblown), and right when you think it is over, five more guys with guns pop out from behind another painting.

Deja Vu (Denzel Washington) - 8/10
I was surprised by how much I actually liked this movie. About how Denzel is a ATF agent investigating an explosion on a ferry. Comes in contact with this special unit who has this technology camera which can see four days and six hours into the past but cannot rewind/forward the tape. So they need to know where to look in case they miss something. Sounds like a goofy premise but I thought this movie was very good, Denzel as usual was brilliant.

The Recruit (Colin Farrell, Al Pacino) - 8/10
Another very solid movie about Farrell who is recruited to the CIA by the head instructor Pacino and then put on the task of finding a mole in the CIA. A lot of good plot twists, you never know when anything is a test as past of Farrell's training or real life.

Plan to watch Gran Torino tonight, so if you have seen that tell me what you thought of it.

Haven't seen a movie since Avatar, and it was amazing.

I'd rate it as a 9/10.

DejaVu really surprised me when i saw it. I really enjoyed it and did not expect it to be that engaging of a movie

Last movie in theaters i saw was Avatar
would rate it an 8/10. Only reason i give it lower scores was because of its sometimes cheasy plot lines.

Last move i saw not in theaters was The Hangover
9/10 Easily the best comedy i have seen in a long time. So many quotable lines. Very well written characters. Great situations and a great storyline.

Saw Avatar yesterday. I give it an 8/10, because of the plot. It was kind of thin, but the visuals where absolutely amazing in the IMAX 3D.

Gran Torino (Clint Eastwood) - 8.5/10
Really liked this one, not exactly what I expected. Loved Eastwood's character and performance, got you really feeling for all of the main characters.

The Hangover

7.0/10

I must be DEAD inside because I didn't really laugh out loud during this movie. It was alright, one of the better comedies out but it was overhyped IMO.

Wow you're the first one so far who I've heard saying that it was overhyped. I haven't seen it yet but I downloaded it and am gonna watch it this afternoon. So I'll come back in this thread to say what I thought of it.

Yeah, well everyone and their mother was saying that it is the funniest movie they have ever seen blah blah blah, so maybe I was expecting too much. It was alright.
