I don't care about my equipment as much as some other fags on my team do. My performance doesn't lack because of it though. I have as following (yes, its lame):
No personal bat (I use people's on the teams) A Nike leather glove Adidas batting gloves Generic Mizuno cleats from Meijer LOL |

No offense Bigshot, but I absolutely hate it when guys don't have their own equipment and use other player's stuff.
There's this one kid on my team, doesn't have anything. He uses other people's bats, helmets, batting gloves, and even a glove sometimes when he plays infield. Thing is, his family is filthy rich and I know they can afford it. They have like a $1.5 million house. Buy your own damn equipment instead of using up the pop on my bat. |

I only use other people's bats and helmets. I don't see the problem, I would pay for it if I broke one of them. Not everyone can afford to go and blow $200+ on a bat. Especially since I rarely bat, and am mainly a pitcher.

A helmet is 20 bucks. I hate it when I cant use my helmet because someone on base has it.
And I buy my own stuff. My parents don't buy anything because they cant afford it. I got my bat brand new on Ebay for $190 bucks, just use your christmas/birthday money or get a job and cut lawns on the side or something. Just one of my biggest pet peeves. If you're gonna play the sport, buy your own equipment. |

I swing a Nike Hawk(33,30) and a TPX Omaha(2008 Green) I have a nice Nike Outfield glove that my cousin gave me that he used while playing for the University of Miami and for in field I use an A600. Black Underarmor batting gloves and the entire School Baseball program has the same cleats. Blue Royal Blue Mizzuno mid cut which came with Turfs. I also where a black underarmor wristband on my left wrist and a black arm sleave on the throwing arm. |

Marucci are the best wood out there if you can afford their bats and the Louisville Pro Stock are the best for the smaller budget. I've been out of college for a little while now, so I don't know about the metal bats much anymore - Louisville TPX models were always the best in my day. Mizuno spikes and turfs hold up the best (and look the best) for the money. Rawlings pro preferred series are all great gloves as well as the Wilson A2000s - never been much for any other leather outside of Rawlings/Wilson. Nike and Under Armour batting gloves are great.
