Cincinnati beats Milwaukee in extra innings
Reds (13-13) beat the Brewers (12-12) thanks to some big bats. Especially for Drew Stubbs coming up huge in the 10th inning.
Joey Votto hit in four runs, Aroldis Chapman dominated in relief, and Drew Stubbs hit a solo homer off Sergio Mitre in the 10th inning to give the Reds the series victory and a .500 record. Aroldis Chapman (whom I guess is still a rookie) is 2-0 in 2011. 2nd year player Drew Stubbs is still doing big boy things with 5 homers for the season now and hitting them when the Reds need them the most. Although he has struck out quite a bit in. Joey Votto is continuing his MVP run by batting .379 so far in '11 with 5 homers, 7 doubles, and OBP over .500. |
