Bruins win three straight

The Boston Bruins were down two games to none, and would come back to take a series lead of 3-2.

This would all be thanks to goaltender Tim Thomas when it came to game 5. Tim Thomas saved 44 shots and would only allow one goal in the whole game against the Montreal Canadians. In the first period the Habs put a lot of pressure on against Thomas, and there was a moment when you thought that Montreal had a sure goal but Michael Ryder would actually make a stop of the puck with his glove.

The way that the Bruins would come out victorious is simply by Nathan Horton putting the puck home off of a rebound that would bounce his way. Horton scored the game winning goal 9:03 into the second overtime.

It was a great goaltender duel with Carey Price and Timmy Thomas, although Tim Thomas would come out on top by stopping all the opportunities by the Montreal Habs. The Bruins know that in game six the Canadians will come out with their all considering if they lose one more they are done and will be going home.
