Bruins Down 0 - 2 to Canadiens

The Boston Bruins head to Lake Placid next week down 0 - 2 to the Canadiens in the first round of this years NHL playoffs. Montreal goaltender Carey Price has a combined 65 saves and 1 goal allowed in the first two games. Tim Thomas has failed to play as he did during the regular season, and as well as his counterpart.

It took the Bruins 133 minutes and 28 seconds to break their playoff scoreless streak when veteran Patrice Bergeron scored 8 minutes into the 2nd period. Along with their scoring troubles, Boston was also missing the presence of their captain and key defenseman Zdeno Chara. The black and yellow had trouble adjusting to not having Chara behind them.

The Bruins have failed to win any series trailing 0 - 2 in their past 26 tries but will look to change that statistic this year. I have faith in my Boston Bruins to pull through and come up with a nice comeback.
