3 Clubs bid £60 million for Torres!!!!!
This has got me laughing so much!! Torres won't leave us, he doesn't want to he said that when United bid for him about a week ago! But 3 premiership clubs, Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea have all bid around £60 million for the Liverpool striker.
Rafa does sound tempted in this article, but then, he knows how much the Liverpool fans want to win the premierleague :D Barcelonic, any thoughts on this? http://www.dailystar.co.uk/football/...60m-for-Nando/ |

Its no secret though that ppl are bidding for Torres as they have been ever since we signed him and showed how well he adapted to the EPL. We are in a great position - United and Liverpool can keep their players whereas Arsenal and Chelsea are struggling. Torres supported Atletico and Liverpool as a boy growing up. He loves this club more than nearly any other player in the team. Him and Gerrard love playing alongside each other, and both of them would only ever consider leaving if we dont continue to get closer to the title. Torres may leave in three seasons if we havent yet won it, but no sooner imo. Gerrard tbh will most likely stay here now regardless of whether we win or not, unless we mess up real bad like selling all our best players then finishing 7th. Gerrard recently signed a new 4yr deal and announced it would be his last ever contract, meaning he intends to retire at 33. So I don't think we have anything to worry about. Rafa's probably only saying this to show that Liverpool doesnt sell. Its a good strategy as it could help big clubs from putting in massive bids for our players, which has been a thorn in our side this window. If we can prove that we're not like other clubs and money is no object for our best players we will not sell, then its a very good strategy. Torres is going nowhere! |

I would really like Torres to move, preferably to United but tbh I don't honestly see it happening :( |

No, he's not going anywhere, yet anyway, if we don't win the league soon, as Barcelonic said, he may be tempted to move |

I'm pretty sure he would love a chance to play his trade at Ewood.
