You must be clearly forgetting that Essien might not play, and that Serbia is in the group :)

they still have one of the best young teams in the world, and they won the under 20 world cup in 2009, beating Brazil in the final. Aslong as they have guys like Pantsil, Muntari and Mensah playing well, then i think they're huge advantage of athleticism will get them through the group stages.

U-20 is way different than the world cup, Serbia has one of the best defenses in the world.

And Ghana still has the advantage of youth and athleticism.

Serbia are a good team defensively, but Ghana are also a very good attacking team that is improving in every game they play. It should be a great game between them as they have completely different styles of play.

Youth is a minus when it comes to the World Cup, Serbia are also a very good attacking team, Milos Krasic and Milan Jovanovic are super dangerous in attack, Zigic and Pantelic are also good finishers.

Pretty obvious that the answer is Germany. The rest is full of 2nd rate teams that arn't even a threat.

Germany, my favorite team (even if I'm French), I love their style of play because they always give all what they got and always try to injure the opponents lol, I like that :heh:. They're warriors, they never ever give up !!! There's only one German team that I can't like (as a Frenchman) it's the 82 German team because of this Shumacher son of a bitch who for no reason attacked one of our players (this is a French team that I really like), Battiston, and severely injured him, and the ref didn't even give him a yellow card !!! I can tell you that everyone in France, me included this time, would love to rip Shumacher's eyes out and piss on his ****ing brain ! Here's a video of it :

But anyway times have changed and now I like this Germany team a lot and.. don't like France any more...

So Germany at first then it's between Ghana and Serbia who are both very good teams. I'm gonna go with Serbia.

I think Serbia will surprise a lot of people. Vidic and Ivanovic are great defenders, and they have some good attackers as well. I think they could even possibly get the number 1 spot, but most likely number 2. They are the team that I think can upset some of the more big name teams.

I go with Germany and Serbia.

Rajevac says Essien is included in Ghanas roster. If he plays (which i think he ultimately will) its 1. Germany 2. Ghana, although the Serbs have a great defense, they don't have a lot of firepower. Watch out for the socceroos ;)
