it can also increase your budget if fans come to the park more

I'm totally building a new, neutral park for next season. I'm so sick of Petco smothering my lineup.

Dabynsky, thank you for all your help. You have helped me learn alot about Baseball Mogul, and I now am able to understand how to find a stud sleeper, big busts, etc.

We're only going to do the first round, since LoneRanger is going to take care of the draft when I'm gone this week.

Why only the first??? There is bound to be sleepers in the draft class.

I'm guessing the time and effort to do it. Plus the lack of participation last year. I would like to see us try to go as many picks as we can to a certain point using the draft thread and then autopick the rest. But I am not going argue with whatever is decided.

Looking at the schedule, there is another day for draft, so Liney may do the second round on that day, or there may just be one round this year due the to the lack of interest last year.

I think we should continue untill there is a sign that the league is loosing interest in the draft. But whatever happens is fine with me.

Sim is delayed until tomorrow @ 8pm. This'll help anyone that still has a deal to do with the Rays, plus extends the deadline a little longer.

what deadline is being extended? The trade deadline?

By delaying tonight's sim, it enables teams to figure shit out by the 23rd, rather than the 22nd.

Ah okay. Just was unclear ifwe had another day to make trades without the waiver wire or not.

That just means they should lose a 7 game series against a team with good pitching and/or they're not in Coors for half the series.

Ahh... just like r/l: Yankees, the best team in baseball, first team to 75.

everyone questioned the Nats at the beginning of the season, 4 GB and leading the wildcard.

I'm guilty of this. However, I could make the same argument. No one though I was going to even win my division, let alone be the best in the league.

I didn't question that the moves made your team better this season, except perhaps getting Ortiz. The only thing that was in question was the big time dollars and years locked in up an aging players hurt your team in the long run. That question still remains unaswered at this point.

Hey all, no sim tonight. My computer decided to take a massive shit yesterday at work, so I had to reinstall Windows. Luckily, it saved most of my TBE files that were important. I'm working on reinstalling the drivers tonight, and there should be a sim tomorrow.

And yes, there was a re-sim, since I had forgotten to put in resigning offers the first time around. The sim file that is currently up is good, and should have all resigning offers done.

Sorry for the delay guys! We'll get back on track after my computer's done being an asshole.
