2 month Anniversary!

Wa-hey! It's now been 2 months since we launched.

Last months stats:
Members: 117
Threads: 157
Posts: 1,002

This months stats:
Members: 374 (increase of 257)
Threads: 349 (increase of 192)
Posts: 1978 (increase of 976)

Well done guys, we are slowly but surely growing and getting bigger! I wonder what we'll be like by next year :tongue1:

That's no problem and it's great that you are around even though you are busy.

We realise a lot of people are busy due to exams and such, it's the same for us. I'm currently finishing off my dissertation which is causing me to have no life at all! But I will be back to help continue the growth and world domination of Football Area!

Great news, im sure well continue to build and next yr we will be in the thousands instead of hundreds.

But i have to ask.... where are all the members?? Surely its not just me who's noticed the same 8 members posting on here week in week out?

There have been a few posts by maybe two or three other people but thats it. It is as though most members have signed up, made a post or not, and then vamoosed.
What we need is a community. Ive posted about the site on my FB news feed but that didnt work in getting more members. I think we need to keep them here longer but im not quite sure how. Any ideas anyone?

I think the way of attracting members is having an already bustling community, unfortunetly this is tricky when the forum is still relatively new. Also with the time of year being exam season, people aren't looking to get involved with something as addictive as a forum. However with exams coming to an end I see a lot more activity among current member and therefore an attraction to guests, hopefully turning them into fully fledged members.

To sum up...I think it needs some dedication from us lot! :D

Well in that case it does look positive as i think we do quite a good job of being as active as possible :)

Yeah definately, after Friday I will look to battle with you for the length of avergae posts! (If that doesn't sound dodgy!)
